Religions at the University of Virginia and has studied at major
Buddhist centers and monasteries n both India and

Senior Research Associate at the Samueli Institute, where his research
focuses is on mind-body approaches for healing trauma, self-managing
mental illness and enhancing resilience. He earned his Master of Public
Health from the George Washington University and has worked for four
years at the National Institutes of Health.
