ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Matthew Fritts, M.P.H., RYT-500 has over 10 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation. He completed an undergraduate minor in East Asian Religions at the University of Virginia and has studied at major Buddhist centers and monasteries n both India and the U.S. Matt is also a Senior Research Associate at the Samueli Institute, where his research focuses is on mind-body approaches for healing trauma, self-managing mental illness and enhancing resilience. He earned his Master of Public Health from the George Washington University and has worked for four years at the National Institutes of Health.
